Registration
Thank you for your interest in Hinsdale Community Preschool!Hinsdale Community Preschool offers an excellent selection of programs. All classes encourage children to learn and grow in a developmentally appropriate environment using a child-centered, play-based approach to learning. Each program leads naturally to the next based on the child’s own development and needs.
- Your child must turn of age by September 1 to enroll in all of our classes.
- All classes run for the full school year (September-May), and require a minimum of 5 students. The maximum varies from 15-20 students depending on the class.

- Fill out the entire Registration Form.
- Read and sign the Preschool Co-op Agreement and Contract.
- Return Registration Form, Agreement Letter, and Registration Fee ($100 for first child, $50 for each additional child) to the school's Director or mail to The Hinsdale Community Preschool Registrar, 415 West Eighth Street, Hinsdale, IL 60521.
Registration Procedures and Policies
To qualify for Priority Registration, your child must currently be enrolled in preschool at HCP and the family must be in good financial standing (fully-paid tuition and opt-out fees (if applicable)).
Registration Procedure
In order to register for one of our programs, please complete the following:
- Fill out the entire Preschool Registration Form.
- Read, complete and sign the Co-Op Agreement & Policy Contract.
- Return Preschool Registration Form, signed Co-Op Agreement & Policy Contract, and Registration Fee ($100 for first child, $50 for each additional child) to the school's registration box or mail to The Hinsdale Community Preschool, Ann Marie Berlino – Director, 415 West Eighth Street, Hinsdale, IL 60521.
Priority Registration Enrollment Policy (for current HCP students)
The Priority Registration period is December 1, 2017 - December 18, 2018. Children enrolled for the 2017-2018 school year in the Just for Me Two, and Junior classes shall be given first priority to enter the Junior AM, Senior AM and Junior/Senior PM classes, as follows:
- A child whose parent is a current member of the Executive Board
- Any child who needs to repeat a class
- The length of time the child enrolling has been at HCP
- A child whose parent previously served as a Board Member
- A child whose sibling attended our school
- A child whose parent attended our school
Open Registration (for NEW students not currently enrolled in a program at HCP)
Open Registration forms will be accepted starting 9am January 1, 2017. Forms are processed, and preference order is determined daily, based on the waitlist described below. Spots are neither held nor confirmed without the receipt of the Registration Fee, Registration Form, Co-Op Agreement & Policy Contract, & Birth Certificate.
- A child whose parent served as a Board Member
- A child whose sibling has attended our school
- A child whose parent attended our school
